Description
The regular cut green beans shall be packed in accordance with good manufacturing practices, conform to U.S. Standards for Grades of Regular Cut Green Beans, and be U.S. Grade A or Fancy, eff July 11, 1983. The regular cut green beans shall be organically grown and processed in accordance to Federal and State regulations.

Type & Length
Type: round.

Length: The beans shall be cut to one (1) inch length.

Defects
Shall conform with the acceptable quality levels outlined in the current USDA Grade Standard Tables for U.S. Grade A.

Flavor & Odor
The product has a good characteristic flavor and odor and is free from objectionable flavors or objectionable odors of any kind.

Blanch
Product must be negative when tested with the peroxidase test.

Storage
The product must be stored at 0 degrees F or below.
