Quality Criteria
Frozen Whole Kernel Corn must meet U.S. Standards for grades of Frozen. Minimum USDA Score: 90.
Defects
"Practically free of defects"
Maturity
Kernels are in the milk or early cream stage.
Blanch
Must be negative as to 3 1/2 minutes test peroxidase using USDA peroxidase Test.
Washing
Water disinfected with chlorine shall not exceed 2 ppm residual chlorine.
Temperature
Product packing temperature must not exceed 15 degrees F. Storage and shipping temperature must not exceed 0 degrees F.
